This one goes out to my lady.
The one who vowed to be my wife five years ago this day on a beautiful St. George afternoon.
The one who hears my complaints, my frustrations and even at times my joy.
The one who endured two pregnancies to bear our beautiful children and bring even more joy and laughter into our home.
The one who overlooks my snoring and cold feet when I need a scratch on my back.
The one I share glances with from across the room and understands exactly what I'm thinking at that very instance.
The one who calls me when she can't take the cryin' anymore and just needs to talk to someone who isn't wearing a diaper.
The one who bathes the kids, dresses them, reads stories to and finally puts them to sleep while I'm out playing gigs or Churchin'.
The one who doesn't let me watch good movies anymore 'cause she'd rather be watching Rock Hudson & Doris Day doing their thing.
The one who calls me on the BS, doesn't take crap and makes me explain myself in sentences over six words.
The one who patiently lets me be me yet somehow inspires me to be more than I can be.
The one I laugh with when one of the kids cuts the cheese.
The one who I love and adore like no other.
But hey, enough of my yackin'. Let's let the boy's play:
Becca, five years ago when we danced to this song I recall feeling as though my world had just come together. For the first time in a long time, I was home. Home in your embrace. Home in your eyes. Home in your love.
Baby...I'm all for you, body & soul.
Love,
Pat

Now after reading that, Pat could have moved to the #1 spot in the list of brother-in-laws that I adore. And I've got a lot of brother-in-laws.
You're right, Becca's got it goin' on!!!
