Once I loved it. Then I couldn't stand it. Now I reminisce.
The (English) Beat
The Specials
The Skatalites with Prince Buster

When will the mighty Herschel be youtubed?

Yeah...not sure anyone really cares at this point. But thanks for asking.
And how about the mighty Paul J? Do you have something?

I saw Stretch Armstrong play live a few times. THAT was good times with ska.

I don't think anyone wants to see a ska resurgence, but damn if Fishbone wasn't one of the greatest live acts.

I have a Fishbone tattoo on my hip - and once at the WDRE festival here in Philly, I met Angelo Moore on the lawn and he licked that tattoo. And then we rolled around on the ground together and he told me I look like a cartoon. Seriously. Anyway, I love them. I have seen all the bands you mention, as well as Bim Skala Bim, Madness, the Bosstones, and too many oi! bands to count. Now I'm 33 and I don't go to shows anymore. And that's not even sad because I am too old for that stuff now.
